Pierre Girardin Les Vignots Pommard 2019 0,75l

Les Vignots comes from one of Pommard's highest sectors, above 350 metres on a cool, stony slope. South to southwest exposure allows Pinot Noir to ripen while the elevated site preserves notable freshness. Pierre Girardin farms with organic practices, uses whole clusters and bottles the wine unfined and unfiltered. Red cherry, raspberry, plum, violet and subtle spice define the aromatic profile. The palate brings silky tannins, lively acidity and a mineral core that gives Pommard's natural power an elegant shape. Its finish remains long, fresh and clearly etched. Serve it with duck, veal, roasted poultry or mushroom dishes, and discover at Vinofant a distinctive Burgundy for thoughtful dining.

Pierre Girardin

In Meursault, Burgundy, Pierre Girardin brings thirteen generations of family experience into a distinctly modern domaine. When his father Vincent sold the former estate in 2011, the family retained 4.5 hectares of prized parcels for Pierre-Vincent, who bottled his first vintage in 2017. Long-term agreements with meticulous growers now extend the range across celebrated climats of the Côte de Beaune and other Burgundian sites....

The grape variety: Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir is a refined red grape known for red cherry, raspberry, floral notes, spice and silky tannins. It is most famous in Burgundy but thrives in many cool-climate regions.

It pairs beautifully with duck, roast chicken, mushrooms, salmon, pork and game birds. Its fascination lies in finesse, fragrance and the way it expresses origin. Pinot Noir
