Poças Special Reserve Ruby Port is a premium blend of selected Ruby Ports aged several years in wood to gain extra depth and complexity. The colour is deep ruby, and the nose is packed with ripe red fruits, plum, fig and raisin, alongside hints of cinnamon, vanilla and toffee. On the palate it is robust and full‑bodied yet well balanced, with concentrated dark‑berry fruit, sweet spice and firm but polished tannins. A long, flavourful finish underlines its suitability for chocolate‑based desserts, strong cheeses or simply lingering after a meal. It is a style that shows particularly well on cooler evenings or in front of the fireplace.

Ageing in large wooden vats preserves the powerful Ruby fruit and rounds the Special Reserve with balance.
