| Habemus Etichetta Bianca from San Giovenale is a powerful blend of Grenache, Syrah, Carignan and Tempranillo grown on the poor, volcanic soils of northern Lazio. The vines are farmed with low yields and great attention to detail to preserve concentration. After spontaneous fermentation the wine is aged in French oak, gaining depth and refinement. The bouquet offers dark berries, ripe cherry and Mediterranean herbs wrapped in balsamic and gently smoky tones. On the palate it is dense and layered, with firm yet fine tannins and a long, spicy finish. A distinctive red to serve with slow-cooked meats, game and richly flavoured Mediterranean dishes. | |
