Schloss Lieser Riesling Niederberg Helden Auslese comes from one of the Mosel’s great steep slate vineyards, home to old Riesling vines rooted deep in grey slate. Meticulous selection of very ripe grapes gives a sumptuous, fruit‑sweet style. The bouquet is packed with ripe peach, apricot and candied citrus, wrapped in notes of honey, blossom and smoky minerality. On the palate the wine is rich, creamy and opulent, yet shaped by vibrant acidity that keeps everything precise and lifted. The interplay of sweetness, fruit and slate‑driven spice provides enormous length. Serve with foie gras, elegant stone‑fruit desserts or simply savour it on its own as a contemplative sweet wine.
