This Riesling Kabinett comes from Westhofen's Kirchspiel in Rheinhessen, a leading site opening east and south-east across limestone-rich soils. Clay marl with abundant limestone and a calcareous subsoil gives the wine a distinctive mineral signature. Keller balances discreet fruit sweetness with vivid acidity, clarity and saline tension. Pear, citrus zest, pale flowers and herbs shape the aromatic profile. The palate feels light-footed and silky, yet there is notable drive and length beneath the delicacy.
