Alphart Rotgipfler Rodauner Top Selektion comes from the top site Ried Rodauner in the Thermenregion and is based on carefully selected old vines. Ageing in large wooden casks and partly in barrique gives the wine both richness and structure. On the nose it offers ripe exotic fruit, yellow stone fruit, delicate toast notes and spicy minerality. The palate is dense, creamy and at the same time vibrant, with elegant acidity and a long finish. Its excellent balance of power, depth and freshness makes it a perfect partner for refined cuisine. One year of barrel ageing on fine lees gives the Rotgipfler fullness, creamy texture, and additional depth.
