Marchesi Antinori Tenuta Tignanello Chianti Classico Riserva shows the classic side of this famous Tuscan estate. The vineyards lie in the heart of Chianti Classico, on limestone and schist-rich soils between the Greve and Pesa valleys. The nose combines sour cherry, raspberry, blackberry, violet, forest floor, vanilla and fine spice. On the palate it is dry, rounded and structured, with juicy acidity and well-framed tannins. Oak ageing supports the fruit without weighing it down. A strong match for pasta, ragù, grilled meats, mushrooms and aged hard cheese.
