Neruno Primitivo Salento by Cantine San Marzano brings the warm, dark-fruited charm of Apulia straight into the glass. The winery is based in San Marzano di San Giuseppe and grew from a group of local winegrowing families. This Primitivo comes from limestone and tuff-influenced soils and is crafted for generous drinking pleasure. The bouquet suggests dark cherries, blackberries, plums, violets, herbs and spices. On the palate it is full-bodied, velvety and rounded, with ripe fruit, fine spice and silky tannins. It pairs beautifully with mild cheese, roast meats, tender beef and sliced meat dishes.
