Cave de Cabrières Cuvée des Pâtres is a red wine from the Languedoc cru of Cabrières, an area known for its schist soils and characterful, spicy reds. The blend typically relies on Syrah and Grenache with support from other local grapes such as Mourvèdre or Carignan. After maceration the wine is matured in tanks to keep the focus on fruit and terroir expression. The bouquet offers dark berries, black cherry and plum alongside garrigue herbs, pepper and a touch of liquorice. On the palate Cuvée des Pâtres is full-bodied, warm and velvety, with ripe tannins and a long, spicy finish – a great match for roast lamb, barbecued meats and hearty stews.
