Chadwick 2020 0,75l

Chadwick is an iconic red from Puente Alto in Chile’s Maipo Valley and a flagship for the country’s high‑end wines. Vines at the foot of the Andes grow on poor, stony soils and are planted predominantly with cabernet sauvignon plus a small proportion of petit verdot. The bouquet combines cassis, blackberry and sour cherry with violet, graphite, pepper and fine cedar. On the palate the wine is concentrated, linear and polished, with vibrant acidity and powerful, ripe tannins. The cool Andean influence and persistent, energetic finish make it a superb partner for prime beef cuts, lamb, grilled meats and contemporary gastronomic cuisine.

The grape variety: Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon is a world-famous red grape producing dark, structured wines with cassis, blackberry, cedar, firm tannins and ageing potential.

The variety is exciting because it combines power with recognisable character. Pair Cabernet Sauvignon with steak, roast beef, lamb, venison, burgers, mushrooms and hard cheeses. Cabernet Sauvignon
