Casa Real Reserva Especial from Santa Rita is an iconic Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile’s Maipo Valley. The grapes come from the historic Carneros Viejos vineyard, where old vines deliver low yields and remarkable concentration. Maturation in French oak adds further complexity and polish. The bouquet shows cassis, blackberry and dark plum layered with cedarwood, tobacco and graphite notes. On the palate this Cabernet is full-bodied yet refined, with dense, ripe tannins and fresh acidity giving tension and length. A long, savoury finish makes it a superb match for prime beef cuts, lamb and sophisticated grilled dishes.
