M.Chapoutier Bila Haut,Côtes de Roussillon blanc 2024 0,75l

M. Chapoutier Bila-Haut Côtes du Roussillon Blanc comes from high-altitude sites in the Agly Valley on granite and schist soils. The blend of grenache blanc, grenache gris and macabeu captures both Mediterranean sunshine and cool freshness from the nearby mountains. Aromas of lemon and grapefruit are joined by smoky nuances, floral notes and a touch of wild herbs. On the palate the wine is dry, aromatic and tense, with bright acidity and a distinct salty, mineral edge on the finish. The texture is round yet focused, giving plenty of drinkability. It is an excellent match for seafood, grilled fish, light pasta, soft cheeses and summer salads.

Temperature-controlled vinification in stainless steel puts freshness, aromatics and mineral tension in the foreground.

M.Chapoutier

In Northern Rhône, the Maison M. Chapoutier has shaped the Côtes du Rhône Nord since 1808—then rewrote its modern chapter in 1990 when Michel Chapoutier took the helm. Biodynamic farming, living soils and meticulous parcel work define their steep slopes from Hermitage to Saint‑Joseph and Cornas, on granite, rolled stones and clay‑limestone seams....
