| Chapoutier Côte Rôtie La Mordorée: The essence of true craftsmanship | |
| M. Chapoutier Côte-Rôtie La Mordorée brings together two renowned slopes of the Côte Blonde and Côte Brune and stands as one of the estate’s flagships in the northern Rhône. The wine is based almost entirely on syrah, sometimes co-fermented with a touch of viognier, and is farmed biodynamically. On the nose it combines violets, blueberries, raspberries and dark cherries with pepper, graphite, smoke and refined spice. The palate is concentrated yet almost weightless, with silky, densely knit tannins and great aromatic precision. Its elegant, extremely long finish makes La Mordorée a superb choice for fine meat dishes, game birds and festive cuisine. | |

M.Chapoutier
In Northern Rhône, the Maison M. Chapoutier has shaped the Côtes du Rhône Nord since 1808—then rewrote its modern chapter in 1990 when Michel Chapoutier took the helm. Biodynamic farming, living soils and meticulous parcel work define their steep slopes from Hermitage to Saint‑Joseph and Cornas, on granite, rolled stones and clay‑limestone seams....more from M.Chapoutier
