M.Chapoutier Côte Rôtie Neve 2023 0,75l
| Brand | M.Chapoutier |
| Region | Europe - France - Rhône Valley - Northern Rhône |
| Category | Wines - Red wine |
| For Connoisseurs: Chapoutier Côte Rôtie Neve from Côtes du Rhône Nord | |
| M. Chapoutier Côte-Rôtie Neve is sourced from a steep single vineyard on schist and gneiss and ranks among the rarest parcel wines of the domaine. Planted entirely to syrah, the site yields grapes of great aromatic purity and tension. The bouquet reveals red and black berries, violets, iron and charcoal notes, with hints of smoked meat and graphite. On the palate Neve is compact, vertical and precise, with chiselled, fine-grained tannins and a cool, mineral core. The long, savoury, slightly saline finish makes it a demanding but rewarding partner for beef, lamb, game and richly flavoured stews. | |

M.Chapoutier
In Northern Rhône, the Maison M. Chapoutier has shaped the Côtes du Rhône Nord since 1808—then rewrote its modern chapter in 1990 when Michel Chapoutier took the helm. Biodynamic farming, living soils and meticulous parcel work define their steep slopes from Hermitage to Saint‑Joseph and Cornas, on granite, rolled stones and clay‑limestone seams....more from M.Chapoutier
