The vineyard is planted mainly with Merlot and Cabernet Franc on clay-limestone soils that bring both generous fruit and a distinctive salty minerality. In the cellar each plot is vinified separately and the wine is matured in a mix of barrels, amphorae and large casks. The bouquet reveals dark berries and cherries wrapped in notes of violets, lilac, raw cocoa and forest floor.
