Château Boutisse Saint Emilion gc. 2011 0,75l

Château Boutisse is a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé with around 25 hectares of vines on limestone slopes and clay plains around Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes. The vineyard is planted mainly with Merlot, completed by Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and a small share of Carménère, and farmed sustainably with no herbicides. The bouquet shows ripe black fruit, cherry and plum, together with spice, tobacco and well-judged oak. On the palate Château Boutisse is dense and juicy with a contemporary feel, offering velvety tannins, fresh acidity and finely integrated wood. It is a layered Saint-Emilion that can be enjoyed in its youth but also rewards cellaring for several years.
