Château Haut-Brion Pessac-Léognan blanc gcc. 2023 0,75l

Château Haut-Brion Blanc is one of Bordeaux’s rarest dry whites, produced from just under three hectares of vines in Pessac-Léognan. Deep gravel over clay and limestone is planted almost equally with Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Fermentation and long ageing on lees in barrel give great depth and texture. The bouquet combines citrus and ripe stone fruit with exotic nuances, white flowers and a discreet smokiness. On the palate Haut-Brion Blanc is powerful yet razor-sharp, with concentrated, creamy mid-palate, vibrant acidity and a very long, saline, mineral finish that confirms its cult status among white Bordeaux.

Barrel ageing gives this white wine structure, calm and elegant depth.

Château Haut-Brion

Long before Bordeaux became a global shorthand for prestige, Château Haut‑Brion in Pessac‑Léognan was already a reference: Jean de Pontac shaped the estate in the 16th century (then known as Château Pontac) and carried its reputation beyond France. In 1855, Haut‑Brion earned Premier Grand Cru Classé status—uniquely for a Graves property—and that distinction still defines its aura....

The grape variety: Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp, aromatic white grape known for citrus, gooseberry, herbs, passion fruit and lively acidity. It ranges from mineral Loire styles to expressive New World wines.

It pairs with goat cheese, asparagus, salads, seafood, sushi, ceviche and herb sauces. A refreshing classic for lovers of vibrant white wines. Sauvignon Blanc
