Château La Grave à Pomerol

Château La Grave à Pomerol 1998 6l

Château La Grave à Pomerol is a compact estate of about eight hectares on the Pomerol plateau, planted mainly with Merlot and a smaller share of Cabernet Franc. The vines grow on coarse gravel with layers of fine sand and clay and pockets of iron‑rich soil that add structure and spice. Grapes are harvested by hand and handled gently in the cellar to preserve pure, juicy fruit. The bouquet reveals ripe plum, black cherry and red berries with hints of cocoa and subtle spice. On the palate La Grave à Pomerol is silky and well balanced, with creamy texture, ripe tannins and a smooth, fruit‑driven finish.
