Château Tour Saint Christophe is located in Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes on the outskirts of Saint-Émilion and is famous for its steep, terraced vineyards. Merlot and cabernet franc vines rooted in clay-limestone soils give wines of depth and tension. The bouquet shows ripe black cherry, blackberry and blueberry with violets, herbs, graphite and a hint of smoke. On the palate the wine is dense, silky and precise, with firm, fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity. A long, mineral finish underlines its Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé status and makes it an elegant match for lamb, beef, game birds and contemporary creative cuisine.
Ageing for 15 months in barriques combines precise fruit with a fresh, saline structure.
