Citadelle Gin Rouge is crafted at Château de Bonbonnet in the Cognac region and built on the base of classic Citadelle Dry Gin. After distillation the spirit is infused with cranberry, raspberry, blueberry, blackcurrant and rhubarb, which give it its vivid ruby colour and generous red-fruit character. The nose bursts with juicy berries, ripe rhubarb and a touch of citrus over a backbone of juniper and subtle spice. On the palate Citadelle Rouge is smooth, rounded and refreshing, balancing berry sweetness with gentle tartness and herbal notes. A long, lively finish makes it a natural choice for colourful gin and tonics, spritz-style aperitifs and playful, fruit-driven cocktails.
