| Clos Nelin Priorat blanco – An experience for true connoisseurs | |
| Clos Nelin is the complex white wine of Clos Mogador, produced from high-altitude parcels in Priorat. The blend is based on garnacha blanca, complemented by macabeo, viognier and small amounts of other white varieties. Vines grow in poor slate and stony soils under organic farming. After careful hand harvesting, the must ferments with native yeasts and ages on fine lees in large wooden vats and concrete tanks. The nose delivers quince, yellow apple and stone fruit with lemon cream, beeswax, fennel and hints of herbal tea. On the palate Clos Nelin is full-bodied, waxy and textured yet kept in check by bright acidity and salty minerality. The long, spicy, mineral finish confirms its status as one of Priorat’s most characterful white wines. | |
