DiamAndes de Uco Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 0,75l
DiamAndes de Uco Grande Reserve is a concentrated red from Argentina’s Uco Valley, produced at Bodega DiamAndes in partnership with the Bonnie family. The blend is based on malbec with a share of cabernet sauvignon sourced from high-altitude vineyards in Campo Los Andes. After fermentation the wine spends around 18 months in predominantly French oak, gaining structure and elegance. The bouquet reveals blackberry, blueberry and plum alongside spice, cocoa and subtle toasty notes. On the palate Grande Reserve is full-bodied, dense and yet remarkably smooth, with powerful but ripe tannins. A long, spicy, fruit-driven finish with hints of black tea and anise makes it an excellent choice for grilled steaks, lamb, hearty stews and mature cheeses.
Twelve months in French oak give the Cabernet structure, spice and a finely integrated oak note.
