DiamAndes de Uco Malbec is a varietal malbec from Argentina’s Uco Valley that captures the altitude and cool Andean influence of the region. Vines grow on stony, well-drained soils at high elevations, producing grapes with intense flavour. After fermentation the wine is aged in oak, adding further layers of complexity. The bouquet offers blackberry, black cherry and redcurrant with violets, herbs and a hint of liquorice. On the palate DiamAndes de Uco Malbec is full, juicy and gently spicy, framed by fresh acidity and supple tannins. A long, fruit-led finish with touches of chocolate and pepper makes it a versatile choice for barbecues, burgers, hearty stews and robust cheeses.
Ageing in French oak adds a subtle oak frame to the Malbec and supports its elegant, fruit-driven structure.

DiamAndes
At the foot of the Andes, where the Uco Valley turns altitude into freshness, the concept behind DiamAndes in Argentina feels architectural as much as viticultural....
Malbec, also called Côt in France, is known for deep colour, plum, blackberry, black cherry, violet and spicy notes. Styles range from smooth and fruit-driven to powerful and structured.
It pairs especially well with steak, grilled meats, lamb, braised dishes, mushrooms and mature cheese. Malbec is exciting because it shows both Argentine richness and the firmer, traditional character of Cahors.
