DiamAndes Perlita Malbec-Syrah blends malbec with a share of syrah from high-altitude vineyards in the Uco Valley and delivers impressive value. Deep violet in colour, it opens with aromas of blueberry, plum and blackberry alongside violets, herbs and a touch of pepper. On the palate Perlita is juicy and medium- to full-bodied, with a smooth texture, ripe fruit and fine-grained tannins. Fresh, well-judged acidity keeps the generous palate in balance and makes each sip inviting. The finish lingers with dark berries, savoury spice and a hint of gentle smokiness.
