Ewald Zweytick Gelber Muskateller Ried Witscheiner Herrenberg: The essence of true craftsmanship
Gelber Muskateller Ried Witscheiner Herrenberg is Ewald Zweytick’s single-vineyard expression of the variety, grown on steep, sand- and opok-based soils in southern Styria. Extended ageing in large wooden casks gives the wine a deep, complex bouquet of dried pineapple, lychee, white tea, citrus zest and subtle muscat spice. On the palate it is dense, dry and elegant, with a cool structure, fine grip and marked salty minerality. Time on the lees adds creaminess and complexity while preserving the lively acidity. A contemplative, layered white wine that shines with aromatic vegetable dishes, refined Asian cuisine or mature hard cheeses.
