| Grattamacco Bianco Bolgheri DOC is a characterful Vermentino sourced from the oldest vines of the estate. These vineyards lie on a natural terrace about one hundred metres above sea level, rooted in saline white clay and marly limestone that give the wine great tension. The bouquet combines lime, grapefruit, white flowers, wild herbs and a hint of Mediterranean scrub. On the palate it is creamy, juicy and complex, with salty minerality, ripe citrus fruit and a touch of fine oak from partial barrel fermentation. A long, sea‑breeze finish makes it an outstanding choice with refined fish dishes, shellfish, grilled poultry or goat’s cheese. | |
