Poggio Antico’s Brunello di Montalcino Riserva captures the most concentrated and age‑worthy expression of the estate’s sangiovese. Produced from rigorously selected grapes, it spends many months in large French and Slavonian oak casks before extended bottle ageing. The nose offers layers of dark cherry, plum and blackberry, framed by dried herbs, sweet spices, leather and tobacco. On the palate the wine is powerful and compact, yet finely balanced by vibrant acidity and tightly knit tannins. This Riserva promises a long evolution in the cellar and pairs beautifully with rich game dishes, braised beef and mature Tuscan cheeses.
