Fattoria Cerbaia’s Chianti Classico is sourced from steep hillsides between Florence and Siena and is based mainly on Sangiovese with a touch of Merlot. The bouquet opens with dark cherries, ripe blueberries and hints of violet, joined by subtle mint, herbs and spice. On the palate the wine is juicy and medium-bodied, offering lively yet well-integrated acidity and ripe, fine-grained tannins. Gentle notes of oak frame the fresh fruit without dominating it. The finish brings together red and dark berries with a light mineral edge and a mouth-watering sense of lift. A genuinely Tuscan Chianti Classico that pairs beautifully with pasta ragù, grilled meats, pizza or mature hard cheeses.
