| Fattoria del Cerro’s Vino Nobile di Montepulciano comes from hillside vineyards around Acquaviva di Montepulciano and is based mainly on Prugnolo Gentile, the local Sangiovese clone. The bouquet opens with ripe cherry, dark berries and hints of plum, supported by violet, gentle toast and sweet spice. On the palate the wine is concentrated yet elegant, showing juicy fruit, well-integrated acidity and a firm but balanced tannic frame. Maturation in oak adds depth and subtle notes of vanilla and leather. The long, harmonious finish echoes spice and dark fruit.
