Fundador Brandy Sherry Cask is a classic Brandy de Jerez matured in American oak casks that previously held sherry. The nose shows bright amber tones of caramel, dried fruits and candied orange peel, wrapped in gentle vanilla and fine oak spice. On the palate it is smooth and rounded, with sweet fruit, soft spice and a distinct wine like character from the seasoned barrels. The structure is harmonious and easy drinking, without harsh edges. Subtle notes of nuts and toffee linger on the warm, medium long finish. Enjoy it neat in a small tumbler, over ice or as a refined base for classic long drinks.
