Fundador Supremo 12YO Pedro Ximénez Cask is an elite Brandy de Jerez matured in casks that previously held luscious Pedro Ximénez wine for many years. Deep amber in the glass, it offers an opulent nose of raisins, dates and figs, layered with vanilla, toffee, honey, cocoa and polished wood. On the palate it is velvety and concentrated, with succulent fruit, sweet seeming richness and perfectly judged spice. The alcohol carries the flavours slowly and smoothly across the tongue without ever feeling aggressive. A very long, complex finish with dried fruits, caramel, roasted nuts and subtle oak notes invites quiet, contemplative enjoyment.
