Gesellmann Chardonnay Steinriegel 2023 0,75l
| Brand | Gesellmann |
| Region | Europe - Austria - Burgenland - Mittelburgenland - Deutschkreutz |
| Category | Wines - White wine |
| This Chardonnay from the Steinriegel vineyard brings together site expression, careful élevage and impressive precision. Gravelly limestone on a gentle south-facing slope gives the wine mineral tension and a distinct personality. Spontaneous fermentation in small oak barrels, malolactic fermentation in barrique and extended ageing on the fine lees create depth, texture and beautifully integrated complexity. Aromas of flint, grapefruit zest, white tropical fruit and a delicate smoky note rise from the glass. On the palate it is juicy and elegant, supported by firm acidity, saline minerality and notable length. It is a compelling choice for Chardonnay drinkers who appreciate serious structure, terroir character and refined Austrian craftsmanship. | |
