Marsannay Collection reveals the white-wine finesse of Burgundy's northern Côte de Nuits through the lens of Chardonnay. Its grapes come from several parcels with varied limestone and marl-rich soils. The vines, between 30 and 40 years old, are harvested by hand before a year of ageing in oak barrels. A golden hue introduces aromas of ripe yellow fruit and bright citrus. On the palate, generous roundness is balanced by a distinct mineral thread. The long, harmonious finish brings clarity to this richly textured white Burgundy. Scallops, fine sea fish, roasted poultry or a creamy risotto all find an elegant partner in its combination of freshness and depth.
