Huguenot Marsannay rouge Es Chezots 2023 0,75l

North of Marsannay, Es Chezots occupies a steep hillside rich in limestone slabs and fossil oyster shells. Its mix of clay, silt and sand provides a distinctive setting for Pinot Noir. Grapes are hand harvested, carefully sorted and aged in oak before a final rest in stainless steel. Deep garnet in colour, the wine opens with black cherry and a delicate hint of mocha. Ripe dark fruit fills the palate, bringing both density and a welcome sense of elegance. Silky tannins meet seamlessly integrated oak on the finish. Roast beef, small game birds and slowly braised dishes make excellent companions for this expressive Burgundy.

Now guided by Valérie and Philippe Huguenot, the estate views each climat as an individual expression of its Burgundian origins....
