Vines rooted in slate influenced, stony soils around Badersdorf deliver concentrated berries and gentle spice. The bouquet opens with sour cherry, blackberry and black cherry, backed by violet, dried herbs and a touch of pepper. On the palate the red is medium in body, vibrant and easy to drink, with ripe fruit, polished tannins and refreshing acidity. A subtle salty minerality adds grip and focus.
