| La Commaraine Pommard 1c. Clos de la Commaraine Monopole: The essence of true craftsmanship | |
| Pommard 1er Cru Clos de la Commaraine Monopole from La Commaraine originates in a historic single vineyard that encircles the château like an amphitheatre. Farmed biodynamically, this north-side site produces unusually refined, silky Pommard. The bouquet shows dark berries, plum, violet, earth and a touch of leather. On the palate the Pinot Noir is powerful yet aristocratically elegant, with dense but ripe tannins and precise acidity. The interplay of depth, spice and minerality promises excellent ageing potential. A classic partner for game, duck breast or slow-braised beef. | |
