La Dame de Boüard is the seductive second wine of Château Clos de Boüard in Montagne Saint-Émilion. Merlot leads the blend, supported by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon from limestone‑clay slopes. The nose offers juicy red berries, cherry, blackcurrant and hints of roasted herbs and sweet spice. On the palate it is fresh, plush and velvety, with fine tannins and a generous, fruit‑driven mid‑palate. A slightly saline, cooling finish adds lift and drinkability. This hedonistic yet elegant Bordeaux pairs beautifully with grilled poultry, pasta dishes or Mediterranean cuisine. Serve slightly cool to emphasise its freshness and vibrant fruit.
