Amarone della Valpolicella Classico from Monte Faustino is crafted from carefully dried grapes of traditional local varieties. In the glass it shows a deep garnet red colour. The nose is intense and persistent, with ripe red fruits, cherry, plum and a touch of almond, wrapped in notes of vanilla, coffee and dark chocolate. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, rich and velvety, yet surprisingly elegant. Firm but ripe tannins and balanced acidity support the generous fruit. The very long finish echoes dried fruit, spice and cocoa. A powerful Amarone to enjoy with game, roasted meats, aged cheeses or simply on its own after dinner.

Maturation in large oak casks and barriques adds warm spice and depth to the concentrated Amarone fruit.
