Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore La Traversagna from Monte Faustino is sourced from the terraced single vineyard La Traversagna beside the Monte Faustino cru. After the first fermentation the young Valpolicella is refermented on Amarone skins, gaining extra depth, body and complexity. The nose offers ripe cherry, dark berries and hints of dried fruit, joined by sweet spice and a touch of leather. On the palate the wine is full‑bodied, warm and richly textured, yet remains harmonious. Velvety tannins and balanced acidity support the generous fruit. The long finish recalls black cherry, cocoa and savoury spice, making this a serious Ripasso for braised meats, roasted game and mature cheeses.

After ripasso on Amarone pomace, the wine matures for 18 months in oak barrels, gaining body, depth and complexity.
