| Moric Hausmarke Rot Solera is the estate’s playful yet serious red blend, composed according to the Solera principle from several vintages. Blaufränkisch forms the backbone, complemented by Zweigelt, Merlot and Pinot Noir matured in a mix of small barrels and large casks. The nose shows juicy cherry, redcurrant and elderberry, joined by herbs, forest floor, juniper and a gentle touch of toast. On the palate the wine is dry, smooth and succulent, with supple tannins and plenty of red-berry fruit. Fresh acidity keeps it lively and easy to drink while subtle mineral and cocoa notes add depth.
