Merlot from Nehrer captures the limestone‑driven style of the Leithaberg with a core of dark, ripe fruit. The bouquet shows plum, black cherry and blackberry layered with dried herbs, subtle spice and a touch of fine oak. On the palate the wine is concentrated and juicy yet remains polished and elegant, with a supple, mouth‑filling texture. Firm, ripe tannins and a well‑integrated line of fresh acidity provide grip and tension. The finish lingers with dark berries, cocoa and a faint smoky edge. A distinctive Merlot that pairs beautifully with grilled beef, slow‑braised lamb or richly seasoned vegetarian dishes.

Barrique ageing gives the Merlot a clear oak frame and supports the natural ripeness of the variety.
