Plantation Rum Limited Edition El Salvador 48.7% 2015 0,7l in gift box

Plantation El Salvador 2015 is part of the Single Cask Collection and comes from Licorera Cihuatán, where the rum is distilled from sugar‑cane syrup and molasses in a column still. It matures first for years in ex‑bourbon barrels in El Salvador before travelling to France for further ageing in Ferrand cognac casks and a final rest in red Pineau des Charentes barrels. The nose combines ripe papaya, red fruits, nuts, vanilla and sweetened condensed milk. On the palate the rum is creamy and fruity‑sweet, with caramel, dulce de leche, pistachio, dark chocolate, prune and a touch of raspberry and pepper. A long, elegant finish with wine‑like red fruit, nutty chocolate and gentle spice makes this limited bottling a distinctive after‑dinner sip.
