Pusser’s Rum Select Aged 151 continues the legacy of traditional overproof Naval rums. This powerful bottling is built on barrel-aged blends from Guyana, produced in line with historic Admiralty regulations. The nose shows notes of burnt sienna, dried fruits, sweet oak and baking spices, with hints of marzipan, marmalade, cinnamon and tobacco. On the palate the rum is extremely intense, with concentrated fruit, oak, liquorice and a rich, syrupy texture. Despite the formidable strength the mouthfeel is surprisingly smooth. The finish is very long, spicy and warming. Ideal for bold tiki-style cocktails or to sip carefully in small measures with water.
