Poças White Port is a classic white Port that showcases the fresher, more aromatic face of the style. It is produced from traditional Douro grapes such as Malvasia Fina, Códega, Rabigato and Viosinho, grown on steep valley slopes. After extended maceration and fortification with grape spirit, the wine ages for several years in large oak vats. In the glass it appears straw yellow and offers aromas of white fruit, citrus, quince and tropical notes of pineapple and banana. The palate is smooth and well balanced, with gentle sweetness, lively acidity and a refined, lingering finish. Served chilled it makes a sophisticated aperitif, pairs with fruit‑based desserts or shines in simple long drinks with tonic and ice.
Three years of wood ageing combines fresh, fruit-driven notes with a smooth, long-lasting finish.
