Poças Lágrima White Port represents the sweetest, most indulgent style in the estate’s white Port range. It is made from traditional Douro varieties such as Malvasia Fina, Códega, Rabigato and Viosinho grown in the warmest, most sun‑exposed vineyards. Fermentation is stopped early by the addition of grape spirit and the wine is then aged for several years in oak casks. The result is a straw‑coloured Port with floral, citrus and tropical aromas, hints of melon and honey and a soft, persistent palate. Rich sweetness is balanced by gentle acidity, creating a velvety texture and a long, lingering finish. Served well chilled it shines with pâté, blue cheeses, nut‑based desserts or simply as a luxurious after‑dinner glass.

Three years of wood ageing gives the white Port rounded sweetness without covering its fresh, floral style.
