Strehn Blaufränkisch Rosé from Mittelburgenland translates the estate’s Blaufränkisch expertise into a fresh, juicy rosé style. Grapes from vineyards around Deutschkreutz are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel. In the glass the wine glows a delicate salmon pink. The bouquet is dominated by raspberry, redcurrant and stone fruit, backed by hints of fresh herbs. On the palate this rosé is dry, cool and highly drinkable, with crisp acidity and finely etched red-berry fruit. Its straight, pure character makes it ideal as an aperitif and a great match for summer salads, fish, seafood and Mediterranean-inspired dishes.
