| Brand | Domaine Vacheron |
| Region | Europe - France - Loire Valley |
| Category | Wines - White wine |
| Domaine Vacheron’s Sancerre Les Romains is sourced from flinty silex soils and offers a particularly mineral expression of Sauvignon Blanc. The bouquet combines cut grass, hay, gooseberries and green stone fruit with apple, lime zest and a touch of elderflower. On the palate the wine feels weightless yet intense, driven by racy acidity and juicy green fruit. Subtle herbal nuances, hints of struck flint and a fine creaminess shape the texture. The structure is precise, linear and very elegant, with a persistent, slightly smoky and citrusy finish. It pairs beautifully with goat’s cheese, shellfish or asparagus in buttery sauces. | |
