Veuve Ambal Crémant de Bourgogne Brut Blanc Grande Cuvée 0,2l
Veuve Ambal Crémant de Bourgogne Brut Blanc Grande Cuvée represents an especially refined expression of Crémant, crafted mainly from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with a touch of Aligoté and Gamay. In the glass it displays a bright golden colour with very fine, even bubbles. The bouquet combines ripe yellow fruit with citrus notes, hints of exotic fruit and delicate floral tones. On the palate the Grande Cuvée is creamy yet lively, offering a balanced interplay of freshness, fruit and gentle spice. Only the first, most delicate presses are used and the wine matures several months on its lees, adding complexity and finesse. It is a versatile partner for elegant aperitifs and pairs beautifully with fish, poultry and refined starters.
Traditional bottle fermentation and lees ageing create fine mousse, fruity harmony and creamy hints.
Away from Champagne’s glare, Veuve Ambal in Burgundy carries its own gravitas: founded in 1898 by Marie Ambal and held by the Piffaut family from the origin, the house became a pioneer of Crémant de Bourgogne—making the Méthode Traditionnelle a regional identity, not a borrowed costume....

The grape variety: Pinot Noir
Pinot Noir is a refined red grape known for red cherry, raspberry, floral notes, spice and silky tannins. It is most famous in Burgundy but thrives in many cool-climate regions.
It pairs beautifully with duck, roast chicken, mushrooms, salmon, pork and game birds. Its fascination lies in finesse, fragrance and the way it expresses origin.
