Aumann Rotgipfler Flamming 2023 0,75l

Aumann Rotgipfler Flamming comes from the Flamming site near Baden and highlights the exotic side of the indigenous Rotgipfler grape. The bouquet is dominated by aromas of papaya, mango, ripe pineapple and yellow stone fruit. On the palate the wine is concentrated and full-bodied, yet remains round and harmonious. Juicy fruit is supported by well-integrated acidity that brings freshness and tension. Its aromatic, tropical style makes it an excellent partner for spicy dishes and creamy cuisine. A characterful white wine from the Thermenregion that shows Rotgipfler at its fruit-driven best.

Cool fermentation in stainless steel with long lees contact preserves fruit, freshness, and clear varietal character.

On the wine shop pages those soils become explicit cues: “Steinfeld (gravel)” here, “loamy sand” there—practical markers of place. Craft shows up in élevage choices rather than slogans, for example St....

The grape variety: Rotgipfler

Rotgipfler is a rare Austrian white grape from the Thermenregion, offering ripe yellow fruit, spice, floral notes and a rounded texture.

It pairs with poultry, veal, creamy dishes, mushrooms, mild curries and soft cheeses. A superb choice for expressive Austrian white wine.
