The grape variety: Glera
Glera is the most important grape variety for Prosecco and produces fresh, fragrant wines with apple, pear, citrus, white flowers and lively acidity.
The variety pairs with aperitifs, antipasti, fish, seafood, mild cheese and light snacks. Glera is exciting because it combines uncomplicated freshness with fine bubbles and Italian joie de vivre.
